Delicious food, however a few of the dishes could have been warmer. Service was great!

Just traveling back to KC and stopped in the Bamboo Garden. Nice selection of tasty Chinese cuisine. The chef and others were always checking the buffet and adding fresh. I loved all the different chicken dishes. Ice cream too The entire restaurant is very clean and inviting. All of the employees were very nice, chatted with a lovely woman about the possible stormy weather moving in. I’ve been coming here since I was a child but I just had to bring my California native husband here. He was pleasantly surprised. The cashew chicken is the best around. The crab Rangoon, egg rolls, egg drop soup and general chicken are also very good. Excellent service. We will most definitely be back.

The servers are quiet and polite. This is a buffet and they get you from your table to the food quickly. All of the food, at 5:30pm on a Saturday, was hot and fresh. The breading is thin and flavorful. Other places cake it on and it's overly crunchy. Bamboo makes sure you taste the meat not the breading. Definitely will be coming back.

Best Chinese Restaurant in Missouri! Springfield MO is famous for their Chinese food, but just about an hour away in Carthage is the best Chinese food you'll ever eat! The egg drop soup with fresh-fried wonton strips is comfort food at it's finest, and their General Tso's chicken is delightful!

For dinner every New Year, our family has Chinese food. It was a tradition started a few years back and each year we try a new place. This year we tried Bamboo Garden and one thing i noticed immediately was the prices. Adult buffet is $9.99, children under 10 are $4.99. I then noticed how small the buffet was. If you are used to large Chinese buffet places, then you will be disappointed at the select here, but if you are value quality over quantity then this is the place for you. I mainly ate the general chicken and though it was done well. I tried the white rice, fried rice, deep fried shrimp, potatoes, egg drop soup, egg rolls and crab rangoon. Everything was cooked well and I had no complaints with how the food was prepared. The kids had a couple bowls of soft serve ice cream after their dinner as that was the only dessert available. Overall the food was good but there is a limited selection for the buffet. The opinions stated here are my own and not provided to me by the owner/operator of this establishment. Great tasting buffet with nice selection. Not a huge one, but what was on it was excellent. I really liked the fried fish and egg rolls! Don’t forget the yummy soft serve ice cream! Waitress was very nice too.
